Beijing Komatsu Delivers Multiple PC950 and PC460 Excavators to Support Green Mining in Eastern Inner Mongolia
Beijing Komatsu Construction Machinery Co., Ltd., a member company of Hengri Group (“Beijing Komatsu”), successfully delivered multiple large hydraulic excavators to a major mining operation in eastern Inner Mongolia, including Komatsu PC950-11 and PC460-11 models.
The delivery marks a further step in cooperation between the two parties in the development of smarter, greener and more efficient mining operations, while supporting the upgrading of mining equipment in the region.

The PC950-11 and PC460-11 are representative models in Komatsu’s mining excavator lineup, known for their reliability, power and fuel efficiency. The 90-ton-class PC950-11 is equipped with Komatsu’s high-pressure common rail engine and intelligent hydraulic system, making it suitable for demanding mining and overburden removal operations. The PC460-11 combines maneuverability with fuel efficiency and is designed for a variety of applications at medium and large mining sites.

Both models comply with China’s emission standards for non-road mobile machinery, helping customers improve operating efficiency while meeting environmental requirements.
To address the cold and dusty operating conditions of mining sites in Inner Mongolia, Beijing Komatsu provided customized solutions including reinforced undercarriages, hydraulic systems adapted for low-temperature operation, and remote monitoring configurations. Beijing Komatsu will also provide professional technical support throughout the equipment lifecycle to help the customer improve operational efficiency and reduce costs.

A representative of the mining company said that the introduction of Komatsu equipment had significantly improved both mining efficiency and operational safety, while the equipment’s reliability and intelligent functions provided a strong foundation for the mine’s digital transformation.
A representative of Beijing Komatsu said the company would continue to focus on the needs of mining customers in China and promote sustainable development in the mining industry through technological innovation and improved services.

The cooperation further strengthens Komatsu’s presence in the mining equipment market in North China and provides another example of equipment modernization in the domestic mining industry.
Looking ahead, Beijing Komatsu plans to further expand its capabilities in large-scale mining equipment and support the industry’s transition toward more efficient and lower-carbon operations.
